Visa applicants are strongly advised to finalize their flight booking only after the visa is granted. The Embassy will not hasten the visa processing to accommodate the applicant’s flight schedule.

Visa processing time is dependent on the applicant’s nationality and usually takes two (2) to ten (10) business days. Processing could be faster if the applicant’s country has an existing visa agreement with the Philippines. For some applicants, evaluation may require a longer period of time. Applicants who arrive after the cut-off time shall be asked to return on the next working day.

The Embassy will not hasten the visa processing to accommodate the visa applicant’s flight schedule. Depending on the applicant’s nationality (i.e. if the applicant’s country has a visa agreement with the Philippines), visa processing will take 2 or 10 business days (in some cases, authorization from Manila). The Embassy will not refund the visa application fee if the visa is issued later than a flight departure date or if the visa application is denied. For more information about Philippines Visa
